This week, we are introducing our Professional and Trade Practitioner Member Type. This category encompasses a broad scope of membership at the COMETSA Membership Club, officially known as the COMETSA Friends & Supporters Club NPO. The practice and profession that the members exercise in their diverse industries or sectors define this membership type. It is limitless in scope, and we treasure this characteristic.

Professional and Trade Practitioners are not just self-employed individuals. They are professionals with qualifications in specific applied fields that address society’s concrete needs. They practice a particular trade and are recognised for their professionalism. Their uniqueness lies in their technical and functional expertise, often at a mastery level, and the experience they bring to their profession.

They have purposefully chosen not to establish and run an enterprise. Instead, they focus on handling the complexities and challenges of their trade. While some professional practitioners may eventually upgrade to the entrepreneur and other member types, that is not their primary focus. Their dedication lies in practising their trade and profession.

Our club is committed to supporting our Professional and Trade Practitioner Member Type, ensuring they can continue doing what they love most. These practitioners often create jobs for assistants, messengers, and secretaries and are the primary deliverers of services, solutions, and products. We are here to support them every step of the way.

We describe this membership type by focusing on select industries as examples of the kind of practitioners we accommodate under this category.
