My Journey as a Social Worker

My journey as a social worker began 25 years ago, driven by a profound desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives. There was a defining moment early in my career that solidified my commitment to this field. I’ll share that story with you in future posts, so stay tuned!

The Purpose of This Blog

Through my blog articles, I aim to share my experiences, challenges, and lessons learned from working with clients and communities. I’ll highlight the presenting problems that clients bring to our consultations and explore the broader social issues affecting our communities, all while respecting the ethical practice of confidentiality.

Essential calendar events, such as Women’s Month, Youth Month, and Heritage Month, will inform my blog content. These events provide us with opportunities for reflection, awareness, and action. My goal is to create a space for sharing, learning, and growth.
